Records concerning the Branch's accounts with Lloyds Bank, including statements, chequebooks, forms and letters.

Correspondence

Correspondence between the Branch Treasurer and other Branch officials, especially the Secretary, concerning financial administration, the Branch bank account, membership subscriptions, sales of publications and merchandise, financial problems and related matters, as well as subjects relating to the administration of the Celtic League more generally.

Treasurer's papers

Papers relating to the activities of the Treasurer of the Cornwall Branch, accumulated by Roy Green and especially by his successor, Peter Wills, as Treasurer of the Branch. The Treasurer received papers relating to membership subscriptions and sales of magazines and books from other Branch officials, who were responsible for collecting them.

Correspondence

Correspondence between successive Branch Secretaries, local and international officials and members of the League, local and national politicians and government, television companies and others concerning matters of interest to the Secretary of the Cornwall Branch, including internal administrative and political matters, publications, the League's policies and the views of its members, and a wide range of campaigns, especially relating to the status and government of Cornwall, the Cornish language and place-names, the boundary of Cornwall, services and businesses in Cornwall, comparisons between Cornwall and other Celtic countries, Cornish nationalist organisations, and a pen-friend scheme, with associated circulars and press cuttings.

Other papers

Pamphlets, reports, proposals, press releases, circulars and press cuttings accumulated by the Branch Secretary relating to the activities of the League, especially those concerning Cornwall, and also the activities of other Cornish nationalist organisations.

Correspondence

Correspondence between Roy Green and newspapers, the archbishop of Canterbury, the BBC and Cornwall Technical College concerning a range of matters including his membership of Gorseth Kernow, criticisms of the Soviet Union, Cornish life, and an industrial tribunal, with related press cuttings, as well as circulars concerning social work, the Communist Party of Great Britain and the National Union of Teachers.

Articles and letters for publication

Drafts and copies of manuscript articles and letters on subjects including geography, history, politics, economics, industrial relations, education, culture and minority languages, with special reference to Cornwall, the Soviet Union and eastern Europe, written by Roy Green, often in his capacity as a representative of the Communist Party, with the intention of having them published in journals (including The Western Morning News, The Morning Star, The West Briton, The Cornish Chough, The Camborne-Redruth Packet, Carn, Cronycla Kernewek ha'n Newodhow Keltek, The Diggers of Albion Newsletter, The Cornish Nation, The Cornish Communist, The Country Standard and An Weryn), together with correspondence between some of Green's communist associates in Cornwall and the press concerning the same matters, and related press cuttings.

Educational papers

Teaching notes made by Roy Green, mostly for 'O' Level and 'A' Level classes, including lesson notes and also details of syllabuses on physical and human Geography, as well as History, Economics, Agriculture and Politics, with related press cuttings and pamphlets.

Other administrative papers

Papers accumulated by the Treasurer relating to matters arising from the League's general administration, mostly not financial but including some material concerning finance.

Cornish Assembly

Papers concerning the activities of the Cornish Assembly, including its constitution, agendas and minutes of meetings, reports, leaflets, letters, press releases, notes, newsletters, membership application forms, notices, receipts, and press cuttings.

Pan-Celtic Committee papers

Papers relating to the work of the Pan-Celtic Committee of the Cornwall branch, which seeks to establish and maintain links with like-minded organisations and movements in all of the Celtic countries.

Chairman's papers

Papers accumulated by the committee Chairman, comprising agendas and minutes of meetings, reports, correspondence, forms, circulars, notes, newsletters, brochures, leaflets, receipts, songbooks, prospectuses, programmes and press cuttings relating especially to Cornwall's participation in the annual Pan Celtic Festival in Killarney, Ireland (including organisation, fundraising, performances, meetings at the festival, and the festival's constitution), and also meetings of the Celtic Congress in most of the Celtic countries, as well as the administration of the Cornish Branch of the Celtic Congress, and some papers relating to matters particular to Cornwall (notably the Cornish language).
