A number of papers grouped together under the titles 'The Quakers of Glamorganshire and their emigration to Pennsylvania &c.' and 'Thomas Story (1670-1742) and Welsh Quakers'. They include typewritten copies of two papers prepared by Frederick J. Gibbins of Neath ('The Friends of Tref y Rhyg Glamorganshire' and 'Friends in Wales', with extracts from T. A. Glenn, Merion in the Welsh Tract, relating to 'The Bevan Family of Treverigg, Glamorganshire, and Merion, Pennsylvania') and 'Some extracts from the original manuscript journal of Thomas Story 1670-1742, supplied by Edith [Emily] E. Moore of Letchworth, his biographer, 1946'. There are also several letters to J. R. Hughes, including some from Emily E. Moore, a sketch of Pales Meeting House, co. Rad., and a map illustrating the travels of Thomas Story in Wales and the Border, both by J. R. Hughes, 1946, and incorporated in the book by Emily E. Moore, Travelling with Thomas Story, [1947], and a note in Welsh by J. R. Hughes, June 1948 on 'Cyfarfod Blynyddol y Crynwyr yng Nghymru - 1948'.

A number of press-cuttings, largely of co. Flint interest, taken from The County Herald, The Flintshire Observer, etc., c. 1874-97. One describes the funeral of Daniel Owen, [1895]. There are also one or two miscellaneous items, including a printed notice concerning the Irish Distress Fund, [Flint], 1880, with a draft of the concluding part of an address on the reverse side containing a reference to the reading-room in Flint.

A number of receipts and accounts of Mrs Jones-Parry, 1868-1874; three estimate sheets of Mrs Jones-Parry's future income; three letters from Bloxam, Ellison, and Bloxam(?), Solicitors, 1871-1872, and two from Percival Pease, bookseller, 1871, to Mrs Jones-Parry.

A number of sermons written for special occasions in this bundle also - to his fellow clergymen on the occasion of the Visitation at Brecon, October 1851, the Sunday before Clyro church was pulled down in 1852, and the opening of the new church in July 1853, and in April 1854 on the outbreak of the war against Russia. (Bundle 2).

The subjects include 'Taith y Pererin' and 'Yr Eglwys a'r Plant'. There are also notes of advice given on the occasion of ordaining elders or deacons and a tribute to the Rev. W. T.. Phillips, Hammersmith.
