Includes probate of the will of Captain Dunken, 'native of Lieben in Courland a citizen of the city of Hamburgh (will, 1832) and 'late of Macao in the East Indies deceased' (probate), a memorandum of the baptisms of John and Catherine Edwards of Arddynwynt's children, p. Mold, 1789-1805, an affadavit relating to the children, including Mary (afterwards Mrs Dunken), 1861, and most of the documents marked A-S referred to in the affadavit.

Dunken (d. 10 Aug. 1833) was commander of the ship 'Reform' of Hamburg. John Dugdale (d. 29 July 1855) of Dugdale & Bros, Manchester, was one of Dunken's executors.
