An autograph letter, 29 August 1949, from Dylan Thomas, The Boat House, Laugharne, to Colin Robinson of Isleworth, Middlesex, answering a series of questions mostly concerning the publication of his work (ff. 12-13). The letter is apparently unpublished. The poet is replying to Robinson's typescript letter, dated 22 August 1949, a carbon copy of which is enclosed (f. 14).

Letter from J. R. Macdonald, Haymarket, London, to the Marquess of Cholmondeloy, 5 June 1920. Heard Lloyd George state in the House of Commons the previous day that the Supreme Economic Council intended despatching a mission to Russia to ascertain the economic condition of the country. As the writer is anxious to solve the current economic problem, would like to go on the mission. Would like the recipient to assist him in this aspiration if possible, although he does not seek any official position, simply to gather information and render assistance.

I hope you will enjoy these. Meanwhile, Mahadev Ram is coming to see you. I will appreciate if you could pay attention to his request.

Ellis Edwards, Bala, concerning obituaries of the latter's father, the Rev. Roger Edwards (f. 25).
