Acknowledgement by Morgan Davies of the receipt from John Vaughan of Derllas, esq., of a lease and release (parties specified) of 13 - 14 June, 1706, by which the said John Vaughan and Elizabeth, his wife, settled in perpetuity one messuage or house built on the common in the lordship of Penryn and a parcel of land and garden being part of the said common in the parish of Llangunock, co. Carmarthen, for the purpose of keeping a Charity Scholl for teaching the poor children of the said manor to read and repeat the catechism of the Church of England; which lease and release the said Morgan Davies promises to use his best endeavour to keep safe and leave to his posterity to do so likewise, that a Charity School may be kept at the said premises for ever.

Cardigan, esq., of the receipt from Morys ap Thomas ap Moris Vaughan of the parish of Llanvihangell gastell gwallter, gent., of 20 nobles, in payment of a mortgage upon lands in Dyffryn ystowyth in the parish of Llanylar.
