Ystoria Charlymaen, &c.,

The Romance of Charlemagne written down by [?Gruffudd Ddu] in the mid 14th century; and a collection of poetry of Gruffudd ap yr Ynad Coch, Guto'r Glyn and others compiled in the 15th - 16th centuries.
The first folios include fragments of indentures and on f. 26b is a representation of Christ on the Cross.

Barddoniaeth,

A manuscript in the hand of a single scribe, [c. 1621], comprising religious and secular poetry of Guto'r Glyn, Siôn Tudur, Edmwnd Prys and others; an interlude of the Passion; and the Statute of Gruffudd ap Cynan.
Also included is a poem composed by Hywel Bangor for an Eisteddfod in 1577.

Llyfr Du'r Waun,

The oldest Welsh text of the Laws of Hywel Dda by two hands dating from the mid-13th century.
There is also a contemporary elegy to Llywelyn ap Gruffydd in a later hand, and a series of provebs, also in a later hand.

Interliwt Troilus a Cresida,

An interlude in Welsh of Troilus and Cressida, based on Chaucer's text and in the hand of John Jones, Gellilyfdy. Pp. 1-135 were written before 14th February 1613 (p. 119) and the remainder of the manuscript was written in 1622 (pp. 160, 231).

Siddons, The Development of Welsh Heraldry, 4 vols. (Aberystwyth, 1991-2006), I, pp. 376-9] (p. 46).

Arfbeisiau teuluoedd Cymru

A pedigree in roundlets, evidently copied from a roll, from Beli Mawr to Cynan ab Iago of Gwynedd, Tewdwr ab Einion of Deheubarth and Bleddyn ap Cynfyn of Powys (ff. 13-23 verso); an armorial in Welsh, of Pum Brenhinllwyth Cymru and other Welsh arms, painted, two to the page (ff. 24-80). All in the hand of Wiliam Llŷn. Above many of the arms in the armorial the name is written in pencil by a contemporary hand, not that of Wiliam Llŷn. On ff. 81 verso-86 verso are additions in the hand of Siôn Cain. Folios 1-12 verso and 87-102 are blank. The index on ff. 103-106 verso is in the hand of Robert Vaughan.
