A collection which comprises mainly of papers relating to North Wales quarries, including union rules, minutes, bank pass books, correspondence, circulars, deeds, etc.; also included are papers of the musician Richard Samuel Hughes, a manuscript possibly in the hand of Samuel Angier (1639-1713), addresses and lectures, sermons, a bibliography, journals, an autobiography, correspondence, poetry and miscellaneous notes, transcripts and extracts by W. J. Parry, together with poetry by other authors and correspondence, and notes relating to W. J. Parry's work on Rowland Williams ('Hwfa Môn').

Family and estate papers of the Pugh family of Cymerau and Aber-mad, Cardiganshire, 1612-1987, including deeds, 1612-1897, domestic and private account books, and estate accounts of the Cymerau and Aber-mad estates, second half of the 19 cent.-20cent, business and financial papers and correspondence, late 19cent.-20cent., many relating to the Garnant Collieries Company, family and personal correspondence, late19cent.-20cent., much of which was written by members of the family while serving in India, and including correspondence between Lewis Pugh Pugh, MP for co. Cardigan (1837-1908), and his wife Veronica Harriet Pugh.

Manuscripts, [13 cent.]-[1922], from the library of Francis William Bourdillon, containing a wealth of romance literature, in particular manuscript and printed editions of the Roman de la Rose. The collection contains original manuscripts, transcripts, translations and notes and includes romances, poetry, 'chansons de geste', biographies, chronicles, medieval manuscripts, commonplace books, public records, songs, hymns, sermons, prayers, inscriptions, terriers, and recipes.

General correspondence, 1950-74, to Desmond Donnelly and carbon copies of letters from him, including letters form Dean Acheson, Sir Anthony Eden and Sir Roy Welensky and other prominent British and international political figures; papers relating to various topics including Pembrokeshire politics and general elections, 1916-1968, Donnelly's foreign travels and international affairs, 1949-1972, his publications, 1958-1966, the United Democratic Party, 1969-1970; a scrapbook relating to the British Empire Cricket Team, diary extracts, papers and other personal material, 1941-1974; copies and drafts of articles and speeches by Donnelly, 1949-1973; and a large group of press cuttings, 1921, 1946-1978. Manuscripts and papers from the collection of Hobley Griffith, much of which are of literary or historical interest, and include poetry, transcripts and miscellanea by W. J. Roberts ('Gwilym Cowlyd'), including transcripts and translations of sermons of his uncle, Evan Evans ('Ieuan Glan Geirionydd'), together with correspondence of 'Gwilym Cowlyd' and 'Ieuan Glan Geirionydd'; eisteddfod adjudications by Ebenezer Thomas ('Eben Fardd'), Ellis Roberts ('Elis Wyn o Wyrfai') and others; volumes of (mainly Welsh) transcripted poetry, including a seventeenth century volume which once belonged to and is annotated by Lewis Morris (Llewelyn Ddu o Fôn'); seven manuscript volumes written by William Hobley in the preparation of his Hanes Methodistiaeth Arfon (1910-1924), together with correspondence of William Hobley; volumes of eighteenth and nineteenth century sermons, two of which contain notes by William Hobley; an eighteenth century tract relating to the disestablishment of the Welsh Dissenters from the Church of England; an elegy by John Roderick (Siôn Rhydderch) on the death of Ellis Wynne of Lasynys; autobiographical notes by Robert Parry ('Robin Ddu Eryri'); annotated nineteenth century Acts of Parliament relating to British railways; a commonplace book of Llanberis interest; etc.

The collection comprises scripts, 1982-1997, together with associated publicity material, programmes and reviews, and papers relating to Write On! festivals, including workshops and rehearsed readings. Many of these scripts include drafts, fair copies and rehearsal copies. There are also adaptations of foreign plays, 1930-1993; scrapbooks, 1984-1992, containing press cuttings of reviews of performances, programmes, and posters relating to productions and festivals staged; scripts from 'Write On!' festivals, 1985-1993; and miscellaneous papers, 1982-1992.
