Across the Straits,

Manuscript and typescript drafts, some incomplete, [?1970]x[?1993], of his autobiographical work, Across the Straits (London (1973), & Llandysul (1993)). The file also includes related notes; corrected galley proofs; a typescript review of the book, in Welsh and English, by Derec Llwyd Morgan, together with printed reviews, 1973. Cuttings of Kyffin Williams' recollections of Ynysfor, published in Architecture Wales [?1965], are inserted amongst the sixth chapter of the first manuscript draft.

A wider sky,

Manuscript and typescript drafts, some incomplete, [?1989]-1991, of A wider sky (Llandysul, 1991); together with a copy of the galley proofs, 1991, for the Introduction and the chapter relating to France; an agreement, 1991, between the author and the publisher; and a bookseller's catalogue, 1993, in which the work is listed.

Patagonia,

Autograph first draft, together with mostly incomplete typescript copies containing manuscript corrections and amendments, of an unpublished book, [1969]-1970, recounting the author's visit to Patagonia, November 1968 - February 1969. Typescripts and folders entitled 'Untitled book on Patagonia' and 'The Welsh in Patagonia'. Parts of this draft were published as 'An Artist in Welsh Patagonia', in The Anglo-Welsh Review, vol. 18, no. 42 (1970), pp. 5-32. In addition, the chapters relating to Patagonia in his book A wider sky (Llandysul, 1991), appear to have been based on this work. An ink sketch of a side profile of a head, signed by Kyffin Williams, is included on the reverse of p. 103 of the ink draft.

Ink draft, [1995x1996], of Portraits (Llandysul, 1996); together with an agreement, 1996, between the author and the publisher; a copy of the journal Artists & illustrators (March 1997), which includes excerpts from the book; and reviews from Books in Wales and Art Review, 1996.

The land and the sea,

Ink draft, [1997x1998], of the introductions by Kyffin Williams to the sections on the sea and 'Landscape' for his book, The land & the sea (Llandysul, 1998), together with an agreement, 1998, regarding the publication of the book.

Drawings,

Papers, 2000, relating to the volume Drawings (Llandysul, 2001), including proofs of possible cover designs, and illustrated order forms containing details of the book and other titles by Kyffin Williams published by the Gomer Press.

Cutting images,

Four surplus copies of a folded leaf, including the title page, from the Gwasg Gregynog publication, Cutting images : a selection of linocuts by Kyffin Williams (Newtown, 2002), one of which includes two limericks in the author's hand. Also included is a copy of a prospectus for the book.

The file includes a copy of the volume Pontio amser by E. W. Davies (Llanfair Pwllgwyngyll, 1990), signed by the author, together with a manuscript review of the book either by Gruffydd Parry himself or translated by him. Also included is a copy of O Ben dwy bont, by E. W. Davies (Llanfair Pwllgwyngyll, 1988), annotated in pencil by the poet, with a typescript of the englyn, 'Y ci defaid (darlun Kyffin Williams)', January 1989.
