Much of the material relates to the strike and lock out in the coal industry in 1926. Many of the records derive from the Oceal Coal Company, the United National Collieries Ltd., the Bute docks, the South Wales and Monmouthshire Coalowners' Association, Wilson, Sons and Co. Ltd., and Captain J. Glynn-Jones.
