'Round the World Tour Diaries',

Diaries containing fairly detailed descriptions of Gareth Jones's travels and experiences during his 'world tour' between February and June 1935 (prior to his death in the following August) The 'tour' comprised Europe, North America and the Far East. They include much detailed comment on the countries which he visited and their peoples. This group of diaries covers Gareth Jones's travels in Japan, the Phillippes, the Dutch East Indies, Singapore, Siam, Cambodia, French Indo China, China, Hong Kong and Canton.
