Manuscript and typescript drafts, corrected proofs, and offprint of Professor Jenkins's 'Custom in Welsh Medieval Law', first presented as a paper at the congress of the Société Jean Bodin, Brussels, October 1984 (cf Minor Deposit 1476), and published in La Coutume, vol 52 (1990); related correspondence, 1983-90, is also included.

The first and a part of the second notebook relate to the pamphlet produced by Dafydd Jenkins for Plaid Cymru, Monmouthshire: the Case for Wales (Caernarfon, 1937), and the remaining notebooks, together with chronological notes, relating to Thomas Johnes o'r Hafod (Cardiff, 1948) by Dafydd Jenkins.
