Llanrhaiadr Church from Wynnstay, Old Neg.

A view of the church taken from the Wynnstay Arms. This appears to be a copy photograph of an original by John Thomas, 47 Everton Road, Liverpool. The corresponding negative in the John Thomas Collection is jti003 "Llanrhaiadr Church from Hotel Window."

John Peris Jones

Yyrnwy Hotel and Lake

A view of the Hotel and Llyn Efyrnwy, the well-known tower in the background. This appears be the original negative that produced the image copied in JPJ019. Interestingly the original title written on this negative reads "27. Vyrnwy Hotel and Lake pub. by E.C. Burns" implying this is one in a series of postcards. In addition an adhesive label on the negative reads "Welshpool 2868"

E. C. Burns.

The Avenue, Llangedwyn.

A portrait format view through the entrance to Llangedwyn Hall, a portion of which can be seen in the distance. Enclosure reads "The Avenue, Llangedwyn, Upright, New one."

John Peris Jones

Pandy-Coed, Llanrhaiadr.

A small valley with meadows adjacent to a small stream. The sides of the valley are lightly wooded and above the treetops in the centre of the image can be seen a large house. One of the meadows contains a small agricultural building.
