A report by Henry Robertson upon the improvement of the navigation of the river Dee, 20 August 1849; a memorandum as to proceedings taken by the River Dee Company for the levying of tolls, 9 June 1859; a statement concerning Acts relating to the River Dee from 1674, 1883; a report by James Abernethy, 7 November 1883; a table of soundings from Chester to Cop House, 1854-1884; a brief for the Wrexham, Mold, and Connah's Quay Railway Company against the Dee Conservancy and Improvement Bill in the house of Lords, 1884; and a statement as to the rights and positions of the various parties having interests in the River Dee, 1884.

Letters of Thomas Norbury

Two hundred and twenty letters and related items, 1808-1822, addressed mainly to Paul Panton, junior, from Thomas Norbury, his agent at Holywell. The correspondence deals with the Flintshire estate of Paul Panton, with mining leases, colliery undertakings, the navigation of the river Dee, railroads, the Talar Goch mine, smelting works, the Nant-y-Moch pottery, Bagillt 'cop' and damage from storms and floods, and proceedings against Dee fishermen.
At the beginning of the volume is a contents list, [20 cent.] (ff. 1-7).
