The collection consists of mainly printed scores and programmes, with some music scores in manuscript of works composed by D. Afan Thomas, such as 'Fy Mam / My Mother', 'As the Hart Panteth', 'Caed Baban Bach', 'Cwyd dy Lygaid', 'Omar'.
A large blue plastic wallet (originally numbered File 7 by the agent of the depositor) consists of manuscript scores for the first and second violin, viola, cello and bass, and flute for the opera 'Blodwen', composed by Dr Joseph Parry.
