Papers, 1839-1931, relating to the Naylor family and the Leighton Hall and Brynllywarch estates, comprising accounts, rent schedules, valuations and sale catalogues, together with correspondence and other material relating to the family, and in particular to their activities as high sheriffs for Montgomeryshire.

Additional papers were received in July 2021, this material mainly comprising correspondence and newspaper cuttings, which trace the history of and events within the Naylor family and the Leighton Hall estate from the mid-nineteenth century to the near present day. The material includes a memorandum book, 1848-1856, belonging to John Naylor (1813-1889) of Leighton Hall.

Series contains papers related to Welsh affairs, including devolution of the legal system, campaigns for devolution, higher and further education and parliamentary work on Welsh issues.

Crew accounts and agreements (generally known as crew lists) and logbooks, together with associated papers and correspondence, 1856-1914, for vessels registered at the port of Aberystwyth, Cardiganshire.

Correspondence and papers relating to Clifford McLucas' installation 'Bro' at the 2002 National Eisteddfod at St. David's, comprising mainly publicity material, printed booklets, notes, sketches and designs, administrative and financial papers.

Title deeds, 1525-1907, of the Derwydd estate, mainly in Carmarthenshire, and of the families of Vaughan of Golden Grove and Llanelli, Bevan of Laugharne (including Madam Bridget Bevan, 1698-1779), Stepney of Llanelli, and Stepney-Gulston of Derwydd. There are no personal or family papers in the archive.

A manuscript containing the names of all rectories 'in the kingdom of England and Calais and the Marches thereof' of the annual value of over £10, arranged in dioceses, deaneries and counties, followed by the names of all vicarages in England, Wales and the Marches of the annual value of over £10, similarly arranged, all having been transcribed from the Liber Regis in the First Fruits and Tenths Office.

Also included are extracts from, and abstracts of, documents, 1284-1715, from the three repositories; together with an abstract of a report entitled 'Bangor Bishoprick Estates. Foreshores and Waste Lands', prepared by H. W. Hewlett in 1866.
