A commonplace book kept by Aaron Francis ('Aaron Mochnant'), containing draft articles, anecdotes, addresses to readers of Y Dysgedydd, 1850, notes of sermons, and poetry, including a translation into English of Ieuan Glan Geirionydd's hymn 'Ar lan Iorddonen ddofn', verses on 'A Deathbed scene during a storm', 'englynion' on the wedding of W. R. Lloyd, and 'englynion' on placenames; and verses entitled 'Y Fenyw Dwylledig' by 'Rhydwen'.
