Tempsiter court leet,

The manor, in the lordship of Clun, comprised the following townships: Clewilsey, Edicliff, Edenhope, Fynnon Vair, Hopebendrid, Llanfair Waterdine, Luckenhope, Mainstone, Menethesney, Hopebarris and Menutton, Obley, Purlogue, Pentrehodry, Rhugantine, Reilth, Selley, Spood, Trebrodier, Trevurward, Trebert [Skyborrah], and Whitcott Evan. Courts were held at the Court House in Clun. The records comprise two files, the Michaelmas leets for 1867 and 1872 respectively.

Manor or borough of Mawddwy,

The manor comprised ten townships: Cowarch, Pennant, Mallwyd, Llanerchfyda, Cerrist, Maesglassery, Cwmcewydd, Gartheiniog, Camlan, Dugoed. Courts were held 'at the court house' in Dinas Mawddwy.

A copy will of Henry, Lord Herbert, and the will of William, Duke of Powis, listed as being part of this parcel in 'Powis Castle Estate Register of Muniments of Title'(now DA1)are no longer extant, at least not in the present parcel.

An exemplification, dated 1721, April 11, of the record containing indictment proceedings and outlawry against the marquis of Powis for high treason and the reversal of his outlawry, listed in 'Powis Castle Estate Register of Muniments of Title' (now DA1)as the first item in this parcel is no longer extant, at least not in the present parcel.

Barony of Powis,

A revocation, dated 20 Feb. 1730/1, by William, marquis of Powis, of the uses specified in D2/7/1 concerning the overplus of said monies, and a declaration by him that trustees should stand seized of the several estates as soon as all schedule debts and annuity should be paid in trust out of the overplus, to pay other monies therein mentioned and afterwards to pay the overplus to the marquis listed as being part of this parcel in 'Powis Castle Estate Register of Muniments of Title'(now DA1)is no longer extant, at least not in the present parcel.

A release, dated 17 May 1732, from the President and Governors of Guy's Hospital of the said £4,000 the same having been paid to them out of the profits of the lead mines in Mochnant, listed as being part ofthis parce in 'Powis Castle Estate Register of Muniments of Title'(now DA1)is no longer extant, at least not in the present parcel.
