Devising his realty in cos. Cardigan, Carmarthen, Surrey, Kent, and Middlesex and the city of London to James Paterson (his brother in law) and John George Gibson and David Powell, as trustees, for the use of his son, John Inglis Jones, for life and his heirs male, with remainders as follows. Testator's first and other daughters, second and other sons, his daughter Issabella Catherine Jones and her heirs male, the female, his daughters Charlotte SeymourJones and her issue and the third and every other daughter. Power for trustees to lease or demise (not exceeding 21 years) sell or exchange the property during minority of devisees and to invest proceeds in the purchase of other property in trust for the uses as before. Power for sons and daughters to charge jointures on the property, not exceeding £1,000. Income from his personality and leasehold property to be invested to the use of J.I.J., for life, with contingent uses specified. Directions for sons and daughters to bar the entail of estates devised by testator's father's will (to which they may become entitled) and to resettle upon the trusts of this will. Numerous other bequests of leasehold property and legacies mentioned. Codicils (dated 1832-1834), whereby testator devises Llyast (recently purchased of William Parry), to the uses of the will and revokes power given to his daughters to charge jointures. Also revokes other legacies (specified) and directs that now no part of his personal estate is to be applied in the purchase of estates by trustees. Also bequeathes money to St. David's College, Lampeter, to found a scholarship called the Derry Ormond Scholarship. Proved at London 11 Feb. 1835. Endorsed: 'W.S.R. Box 1 B7. This is the paper writing marked W.S.R. 1 referred to in the affadavit of William Smith Rackham, sworn 3 Dec., 1892 in the matter of the Manchester and Milford Railway Company and in the matter of the Railway Company's Act 1867, Office Copy made 12 Aug. 1886.
