Llawysgrifau 'Tremlyn'

Papers, [c. 1860]-[c. 1890], of David Davies ('Tremlyn'), a clerk at Pen yr Orsedd quarry, Nantlle, Caernarvonshire, comprising notes on early British history, local history and genealogy, and on figures such as 'Eben Fardd' (Ebenezer Thomas) and 'Dic Aberdaron' (Richard Robert Jones), together with compositions by 'Tremlyn', entered at local eisteddfodau. Papers found loose inside the volume have been filed separately (MS 23630iiE).

Dymond.
Papers found loose inside the volume have been tipped in on ff. i-v.

Included are poems collected for a projected second volume of the poetry of G. W. Francis, entitled '''Bwrdd Gwledd y Bardd Gwlad" neu "Rhwng yr Ordd a'r Eingion'''.

Caernarfon riots,

Letters, 1807, from Edward Griffith, Caernarfon and Ymwlch, Justice of the Peace, to Messrs Wood & Innes, printers, London, containing material used in the preparation of the third edition of Correspondence relative to the stationing of a troop of the Fourth Regiment of Dragoons in the County of Carnarvon (London, 1807), which relates to the Caernarfon riots of November 1800.
