A meandering river with a braided channel. The direction of flow is away from the camera and to the right of the frame. Steep banks on each side suggest the meander is incised, consistent with an area of tectonic uplift such as South America.

White water on the upper reaches of a fast flowing river flowing through an area of coniferous forest. Photograph taken from a low viewpoint next to the water. Mountains shrouded in low cloud can be seen in the distance on the left hand side.
