An incomplete mid 19th century commonplace book of a Welsh American, containing medical recipes and addresses, which was subsequently used as a scrapbook of newspaper cuttings, largely of poetry by Welsh Americans. Formerly D. Pryse Williams 217.

Some of the sermons were preached in the following places and at the following times: St Ishmaels, 1770-1814, Llanfrynach, 1791, Mydrim, 1795, Cantref, 1797, Pembrey, 1798-1807, Llanelli, 1802-1810, Llangattock, 1803-1819, Cardigan, 1813, Manordeifi, 1818-1819, Capel Colman, 1818-1837, Carmarthen, 1819, Llangoedmore, 1831-1839, Llandygwydd, 1833, Llanllwchaiarn, 1837-1861, and Cenarth, 1839-1845, and Wellington, 1757-1765, Little Hereford, 1774-1776, Ashford Carbonel, 1774-1776, Wallington, 1824, Creaton, 1834-1837, Swinstead, 1837, etc. Some of these sermons were originally preserved with the sermons of Rhys Jones Lloyd, Troedyraur (NLW MS 15872), and the parcel was endorsed by D.
