Mason's Collection; 'Clod a Mawl i'r Hollalluog Dduw' by David Lewis; and a duet, 'Gwyllt Walia', by William Ellis, schoolmaster, which was awarded the first prize at the competitive meeting of the Aberystwyth Literary Society, 1857.
