A typescript draft of Caitlin Thomas's autobiography, Leftover Life to Kill (London, 1957), apparently typed from tape or dictation (see, for instance, ff. 64-65), bearing her more or less final autograph revision, and containing some passages which do not appear in the published work, e.g. the summary of Dylan's usual domestic small talk (f. 39), and his inability to cope with the pestilent 'Bible manglers' of New York (f. 83).

Twelve holograph poems by Waldo Williams, [1956] (ff. 1-10), written down from memory with the encouragement of Prof. J. Gwyn Griffiths and Dr Kate Bosse-Griffiths at their flat in 1 Eaton Crescent, Swansea; with the exception of 'Arfau' (ff. 6 verso-7), all the poems appeared in the volume Dail Pren (Llandysul, 1956). Also included are page proofs of the first typesetting of Dail Pren prepared by Gwasg Gomer in June 1956 (ff. 11-103), arranged by the poet with the help of Prof. Griffiths and Dr Bosse-Griffiths and including a few manuscript emendations in the hand of Prof. Griffiths.
The first typesetting differs significantly from the first published version of November 1956, with the poet having omitted twenty of the sixty-three poems and added twenty-three new poems.

Papers of and relating to Thomas Harri Jones, [1956]-[2007], an Anglo-Welsh poet and to the publishing of his biography entitled T.H. Jones : poet of exile (Cardiff, 2001) by P. Bernard Jones and Don Dale-Jones, and a collection of his poems Lucky Jonah and other poems (Llanrwst, 2004) in The corgi series edited by Meic Stephens. The correspondence, 1992-2004, relating to the biography is between the two authors and Madeline Mitchell, widow of T. H. Jones and the papers include a typescript of his critical study on Dylan Thomas published in 1963, 'The birds of Rhiannon', a comedy in three acts, and three short stories by him, together with a BBC script 'Homage to a poet' written and read by Edward Richards, transmitted in 1965. Also two sketches of T. Harri Jones, one by M. Hew, [1960s].

A holograph letter, dated 16 June 1953, from Dylan Thomas, Boat House, Laugharne, to his lover Elizabeth (Liz) Reitell, New York, concerning various personal and work matters. It was written soon after Thomas's return to Wales from his American tour and he describes his flight to London and his stay there in the days after the Coronation.
The letter is published in Dylan Thomas, The Collected Letters New Edition, ed. by Paul Ferris (London, 2000), pp. 994-5. The original envelope is included (f. 2a).

Ten letters, 1953-1964, from David Jones, artist and writer, to the painter and engraver Richard Shirley Smith and his artist wife Juliet Wood, mostly written, 1960-1961, while the latter were abroad studying in Italy. The letters, containing comments on David Jones's work and that of the recipients, were published in a limited edition, David Jones, Ten Letters ..., ed. by Derek Shiel (London: Agenda Editions, 1996); copy no. 1/150 was acquired with the letters and is filed with them.

One page of untitled holograph notes by Dylan Thomas, 1953, written whilst composing his last poem, the unfinished 'Elegy' to his father, David John (D.J.) Thomas, who died on 16 December 1952.
The work first appeared in print, as a 'previously unpublished poem', in Encounter, 6/2 (February 1956), and was included by Vernon Watkins as an appendix to the Collected Poems after 1956. For a copy of the poem as completed by Vernon Watkins, see NLW MS 22552E.

Correspondence and other papers, 1952-1990, of Morag Owen (née McLennan; later married name Bulbrook), relating to her friend the painter-poet David Jones, including eighteen letters and cards to her from Jones, 1952-1973 (ff. 1-15, 17-25), and one to her first husband Richard Owen, 28 July 1965 (f. 16), mostly concerning personal matters, Jones's health, Welsh grammar and placenames and the 'Old North'.
Four of the items are photographic reproductions of Jones's inscriptions, sent as Christmas, and other, cards (ff. 1, 3, 9-10); in three instances Jones has altered the photographs with the addition of further painted inscriptions (ff. 3, 9-10). A copy of the 1961 Faber Christmas card, designed by Jones, was sent by him as a ' Spring 1962' card (ff. 11-12; for a clean copy of the same card see ff. 39-40). Also included are letters to Morag from Barbara, [Countess of] Moray, 31 August 1977 (f. 26), Diana L.
