Voucher for slates bought for slate, timber and coal for Llanvair and Crûg farm, [p. Llanfair-is-gaer, co. Caern,] by John Griffith, esq.
Voucher for repairs and alterations done and material used therefor, at the premises of Mrs. Ellen Jones and Miss Martha Hughes, Market St., Carnarvon, and at Llanvair, due by John Griffith to Robert Jones. Appended is a voucher, dated 26 Nov., 1808, from John Hughes, slater, to Miss Hughes.

Volume Of Pedigrees of the family of Hugh Griffith of Carnarvon, co. Caern., esq., upon whose order the volume was written by John Richard Prees, following Griffith Hiraethog, William Llyn and Lewis Dunn, and continuing therefrom; the pedigrees centre on Rhys ap Tewdwr fawr, Prince of South Wales. Among the inclusions, loose and pasted in are epitaphs, genealogical notes, a letter and a list of sheriffs of co. Caern., 1540-1805. Two printed items included are a memorial against Lord Bulkeley and 'an historical legi-graphical chart of landed property in England.'.

The outer covers consist of 2ff. of Ratson Maur's commentary on the Pauline epistles (Rom. xii, 3-8), written in a twelfth century hand.

Caern., & Aberffraw & Llangefni, co. Ang., & other unspecified parishes in the above counties & co. Mer. Loose in the volume are two pages containing a list of deeds & documents found in an oak chest in the hall at Llanfair, made 29 Sept., 1829, the deeds & documents dated 1763-70 & undated, with later additions dated 1831 & undated, & relating to properties in counties Caern., & Mer., & unspecified; note of examination dated 29 Sept., 1830, & pencil note of return of deeds borrowed dated 5 June, 1845.
