Reports (2) by D. Pritchard, Fishery Officer. In the first report, dated 16 May 1896, he reports the boarding of a fishing boat, the 'Wave' CO3, trawling off Cilan Head within the limits with trawl mesh too small, and trawl beam too large. The second report, 17 May 1896, is of the boarding of fishing boat 'Ann Marie' LL208 at Cilan Head. He reports the same offences as those committed by the 'Wave'. Also included is information given for the prosecution at the Pwllheli Petty Sessional Division by R. Casson related to the offences committed by the boat 'Ann Marie'.

Travis Jenkins, Superintendent of the Lancashire and Western Sea Fisheries. Also enclosed are letters from Professor White to the Board of Agriculture and Fisheries relating to an objection by Professor White to byelaws concerning sparling.

Pritchard, Fishery Officer for the area from Porthdinllaen to Llwyngwril, reporting the crew of a Hoylake fishing boat, 'Comet' LL53, which refused to ease speed to board for examination of her trawl net, off Caernarfon's new dock, as well as a letter from Fishery Officer D. Pritchard to R[andal] Casson, stating that the vessel 'Comet' has been transferred from Liverpool to the Isle of Man.
