Jack Raymond Jones (1922-1993), of Swansea, Glamorgan, and later London, artist and writer, worked as a secondary school teacher between 1957 and 1976. He wrote scripts for television and radio during the late 1950s and 1960s. He also published articles and books, including The Man who Loved the Sun (London, 1966), about Vincent van Gogh.
