Papers, [19 cent, first ½]-1938, from the library of T[homas] Eurwedd Williams. They comprise mainly essays and notes relating to Welsh and other languages, literatures and mythologies, translations from and notes on Greek and Latin literature, material relating to Dafen, Llanelli, and surrounding districts, and general notes on Welsh public figures, literature, eisteddfodau, political issues, etc.; together with diaries, 1932-1935, of T. Eurwedd Williams, and a commonplace book of the Rev. David Bowen, first minister of Seion Baptist church, Llanelli.

Records mainly of the manor of Monmouth, 1549-1919, including a survey of the manor, 1612; entry books of surrenders of customary properties, 1673-1919; transcripts of papers relating to heriots and alienations, 1606-1628; conveyances, 1610-1774, of the manors of Monmouth, Ebboth and Longstocke, and the lordships of Kidwelly, Carnwyllion and Iscennen; and transcripts of documents relating to the borough and corporation of Monmouth, 1549-1716.

Papers of the late Philip Weekes, former Area Director of the South Wales Coalfield, comprising National Coal Board papers, 1947-1985, arising directly from his career with the Board; professional papers, 1911-[c. 2000], which are more generally connected with his work in the coal industry; a large amount of accumulated reference material, 1934-2003; numerous press cuttings, [1957]-2002; and a few historical documents, 1860-1980, collected by Philip Weekes and relating to mining and the South Wales Coalfield.

Professor William Porter and including essays, examination papers and research and lecture notes. Much of the material relates to Biblical themes and to the study of the Hebrew and Greek languages.

A collection of music manuscripts which largely comprises sacred music such as hymn tunes, psalm-tunes, anthems and choruses, but also includes folk songs and airs.

Papers, [1300]-1936, from the library of Mrs Ethel Jones of Aberystwyth comprising material of Pembrokeshire interest, including estate rentals, farm accounts, correspondence relating to land tenure, rules of Milford Friendly Society and turnpike gate receipts at Haverfordwest; papers of or relating to the Goldwyer family of Marlborough and [?Bristol] which include a tour journal of 1799 and correspondence; together with miscellaneous accounts, legal precedents, correspondence and a volume of coats of arms, much of which material also relates to Pembrokeshire.

The O'Grady Manuscripts belonged to Standish Hayes O'Grady (1832-1915), and for the most part contain transcripts or notes by O'Grady made from Irish manuscripts in London, Dublin, and elsewhere.
