Papers, 1703-[1900], of the Copleston family, mainly comprising correspondence of Edward Copleston, provost of Oriel College, Oxford, and bishop of Llandaf. MSS 22718-21 are apparently in the hand of his nephew, the Reverend W. J. Copleston.

Papers, 1886-1921, 1972, of or relating to Madame Lucie Barbier, comprising correspondence, 1900-1921, largely relating to her work with the Société des Concerts Franҫais and with the University College of Wales, Aberystwyth's Musical Club; concert programmes, press cuttings and other papers, 1886-1921, relating to concerts in France, Wales and England at which Lucie Barbier performed or with which she was associated; and a copy of Martha Stonequist's doctoral thesis, 1972, partly based on the historical context of the Lucie Barbier papers.

Diaries of Mary Caroline Evans Williams of Bryntirion Hall, Rhaeadr, Radnorshire, 1861-1906, and of her daughter, Elizabeth Alice Evans Williams, later E. A. Lewis Lloyd, 1889-1903. Most of the entries are brief, apart from those detailing vacations in Germany, 1861-1862, and Belgium, 1897 and 1906.

Photographs relating to the work of Professor Emeritus Martin G Jones (1897-1979). Prof Jones was chair of Agricultural Botany at Kings College Durham, later the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne from 1947 until 1962. These photgraphs encompass his wide range of academic interests, particularly Grasslands.

They comprise a fifteenth-century genealogical chronicle of Welsh and English rulers; an album of watercolour drawings of churches and other notable features of north and mid Wales compiled by the artist David Parkes; transcripts of monumental inscriptions in Tenby parish church; a journal of a tour of Wales, 1836; a volume of music, including works by John Parry (Y Telynor Dall); a volume of pedigrees transcribed by Edward Stanton Roberts; and seventeenth-century Welsh poetry.

The collection comprises mainly leaflets, correspondence and papers, 1924-1966, relating to Labour politics in the Brecon and Radnor constituency. There are also papers concerning the Labour Party in Wales, 1928-1952; the Parliament for Wales campaign, 1950-1956; Tudor Watkins's visits to Russia in 1961 and to Patagonia in 1965; papers concerning Tudor Watkins's elevation to the House of Lords in 1972; and material deriving from the Brecon and Radnor by-election in 1939.
