Gruffydd: Telynegion (Bangor, 1900). The greater part of the review is written on the dorse of leaflets entitled 'Cyngrair Cymru Fydd. Sut i ffurfio cangenau'.

A manuscript and typescript copy of the autobiography of Rev. J. Lloyd Williams, Baptist minister, entitled 'The autobiography of an ordinary minister', 1942, together with a collection of letters from his son Private Trevor Lloyd Williams, 1916-1917, while serving as a soldier in the Somme during the First World War. Some of the soldier's personal papers are included and his 'From the line to the base. The personal experiences of one who was slightly wounded' in his hand, and transcripts of this account and the war letters are included in 'Trevor's war' compiled by the donor J. Stuart Davies, [nephew of Trevor Lloyd Williams] .

A letter dated 1 December 1886 from William Morgan, rector of Llandderfel, Merioneth, to Thomas Jones, Bryn Melyn, Llandderfel, in reply to a deputation to the rector, appointed at a meeting of tenant farmers and others at Llandderfel, demanding 15% abatement from the half-year's tithe rent-charge due on 1 January 1887. There is also a copy of the letter in Welsh.

Two manuscript volumes, the first dated 1829 (watermarks 1829 in both), containing transcripts, by W[illiam] Bruce, of sermons of the Rev. William Howels preached at Long Acre Episcopal Chapel, London (eleven in NLW MS 24218iB and ten in NLW MS 24218iiB).
The sermons were originally recorded by Bruce in shorthand, then transcribed into the present volumes (see pencil note on MS 24218iB, p. 3). The main text is mostly written within a red ink frame, with marginal comments and annotations in ink and sporadic corrections and deletions in pencil. The sermons are occasionally interspersed with other material including excerpts from hymns by [John] Newton, [Isaac Watts], [Charles Wesley] and [James Montgomery] (MS 24218iB, pp. 137, 180-181, 293, 394; MS 24218iiB, ff. 40 verso, 66, 171 verso-172); NLW MS 24218iB also contains a title page (p. 1) and list of contents (p. 5). Of the twenty-one sermons, five were published by Bruce in Twenty Sermons by the Late Rev. William Howels (London, 1835) (MS 24218iB, pp. 7-48, 55-96, 183-230 and MS 24218iiB, ff. 1-16 verso, 41-40 verso). A subsequent volume edited by Bruce, Choice Sentences: or, Recollections of the Ministry of the Late Rev. William Howels… (Sheffield, 1849) was not seen by the cataloguer but presumably also makes use of the present volumes.

Two notebooks listing the texts of almost six thousand sermons preached, 1830-1881, by the Rev. Thomas Thomas, first president of the Baptist College, Pontypool, co. Monmouth, with details of the date, place and occasion of delivery.

The collection consists of personal and family papers, 1774-1845; account books, rent books and financial papers, 1809-1847, of members of the Roberts family; papers, 1800-1848, relating to parochial and church matters in the parish of Llanrwst; correspondence, 1819-1852, addressed to Thomas Griffith Roberts concerning financial matters; receipts, 1818-1851, in relation to the payment of various taxes; receipts, bills and vouchers, 1817-1852, for various domestic accounts; and miscellanea, 1791-1885.

Correspondence, 1976-1978 and 1985, between John Jenkins, a member of staff at Llandovery College, and editor of the school journal during the 1970s, and the Rev. T. H. Ward Hill, former master at the school and editor of the journal, 1924-1948, together with notes and an article by Rev. Hill for the centenary edition of the School Journal in 1977. The file includes an endowment deed for the Thomas Phillips Foundation at Llandovery, dated 25 August 1847.
