She won many National Eisteddfod solo prizes in her youth and then went to London where she was lead singer in the Ivor Novello chorus, including certificates and concert programmes, biographical material, letters fron Clara Novello Davies, her tutor, and newspaper cuttings relating to her son Ivor Novello.
