Note
The National Women's Register is a non-political, non-campaigning/fundraising organisation which has groups throughout Britain that aim to bring women together for meetings, discussions and events. The NWR was established in 1960 mainly to provide women with a break from domestic responsibilities, especially those women denied the opportunity to return to work after starting a family.
