The obituary notices and later tributes to Alfred Edwin Morris included in this group were collected and later placed in the archive by the Reverend Peter Morris, his son.

The group contains Edwin Morris' personal papers, including correspondence, largely sympathy cards on the death of family members, along with a group of letters written to his friend Bill Gibbs during the First World War; papers concerning funeral arrangements for his parents, son and wife; newspaper cuttings concerning Morris, including obituary notices and tributes; personal documents such as his baptism certificate and passport; a selection of pamphlets and dinner programmes, and a series of appointment diaries with some personal notes.
