History
The English Language Section of the Academi put great emphasis on arranging courses for its members, and later on, for the general public. It also held an annual conference and, between 1986 and 1996, organised a Cardiff Literature Festival. Competitions, overseas exchanges and many other events were also arranged by the English Language Section of the Academi.
