A bound volume containing the life story of Dr Phoebe Sheavyn (1865-1968) compiled by Brian Sheavyn, her great-nephew. She was the first woman student to gain an honours degree from Aberystwyth University in the 1880s.

A short biographical sketch of Dr Mary Williams (1883-1977), linguist and former Professor of Modern Languages, University College, Swansea, written by the donor's mother shortly after the subject's death in October 1977.

Music manuscripts, notebooks, papers relating to the National Museum of Wales and the University of Wales, and other miscellaneous material belonging to Dr Mary Davies (1855-1930) and her husband, W. Cadwaladr Davies (1849-1905). A manuscript containing a dedication by Dr Henry Perri (Parry) (1560/1-1617), chaplain to Queen Elizabeth and bishop of Worcester, to the Church of St Paul; also included is a poem entitled De Furoribus Gallicis & horrenda Parisina caede Amirallii Castibonei & regis perfidia, Narratio.

Papers of the donor, 1970-2010, including two letters, 1970 and 1973, from Idris Cox to him, an article written by Edgar Evans entitled 'History of Company Unions in South Wales', together with a tribute to 'The bard of Bodloesygâd, Cwm Cynfal: Arnold Rattensbury (1921-2007)' and a 'Shanty for tormented tenants', 2010, by H. G. A. Hughes.
