History
The Roch and Rosemarket estates, Pembrokeshire, were bequeathed by Henry and Bridgett Walter to their eldest son, Sir Richard Walter, Sheriff of Pembrokeshire, in 1727. By 1733, his son, Joseph Walter, had inherited the estates. He married Elizabeth Barlow, and after his death, [c. 1746], she married Alexander Eliot of Eareweare, Pembrokeshire.
