History

Mrs Catherine Whitney, 1895-1982, was F. E. Llewellyn Jones's housekeeper and companion from his retirement in 1960 until his death in 1982. She was a Welsh speaking native of Merioneth and a former matron. She published an article on the Romanies and obviously shared many of her employer's interests. They are both buried in the same grave at Talgarth Church.
