Completed in 1841, Swansea Museum is the oldest museum in Wales. It was commissioned by a group of art and science enthusiasts known as the Royal Institution of South Wales and built in the neo-classical style. It is today a Grade II* listed building.
Nodiadau
Swansea Central Library was opened in 1887 by former Prime Minister William Ewart Gladstone. The library closed in 2007 and the Grade II listed building is now occupied by Swansea Metropolitan University's Welsh School of Architectural Glass.
