Accounts ledger, 1940-87, showing income and expenses in connection with publication of books and poetry, articles, radio broadcasts, with exact dates given, and in most cases, the number of words or time of the story to be read; separate section for annual accounts, 1964-76. Loose papers (now placed in an envelope) comprise: notes and press cuttings relating to philosophy, education and writing for the media; pencil sketches; a receipt; printed version of folk songs; typed notes on eighteenth century carriage-maker's accounts.
