Agreement between Res Gruffuth, esq., and William Owen, gent., that, whereas the said Res Gruffuth holds the office of stewardship and receivership of the shire of Pembrok of the grant of Sir William a Parr, knight, the said Res Gruffuth shall obtain of the said Sir William a Parr a joint and several commission of the said offices or of either of them to himself and William Owen, and that the said Res Gruffith shall permit William Owen to occupy the office of receiver within the said shire without and vexation or impediment during the time the office shall be in the hands of the said Res Gruffuth, and that the said William Owen shall save harmless and discharge the said Res Gruffuth against the king and Sir William a Parr of all such sums of money as the said Res Gruffuth shall be yearly charged with upon his account by the king's auditor by reason of the said office of receivership.
