1 Roland Pughe of Mathavarn, co. Mont., esq. 2 David Lloid Blaine of Tregenon, esq. Agreement previous to the marriage of Roland ap David Lloid, aged 11 years in November 1583 and son of 1's sister, and Bridgett Blayne, daughter of 2: (i) Roland to marry B.B. when he is 14 years of age or, in the event of her death, her sister Katherine Blayne; (ii) covenant by 1, when the said Roland is 21 years old, to assure to trustees the m's, mills and lands lately belonging to Owen ap Howell Goch and David Lloyd Owen, both dec., being the grandfather and father respectively of the said Roland, to the use of the said Roland and his issue by such dau's of 2 as he should marry; (iii) covenant by 2 to pay to the said Roland such sums of money and such apparel for the bride, after the solemnization of the intended marriage, as John Pryce of Newetowne and Richard Morys of Bystvod shall appoint; (iv) 1 grants the wardship of the said Roland to 2; (v) if the said Roland dies before Christmas 1586 1 will pay 2 £40.
