Five letters, 1838, to George Thomas (1806-68), Swansea, solicitor, from his future wife Maria Frances Pringle (b. 1820), Milford Haven, co. Pembroke (4), containing personal and family news, and from his mother Barbara Thomas, Rock House, Briton Ferry, co. Glamorgan (1), concerning his engagement to be married, together with an undated letter from Mrs Thomas to Sarah Thomas, Mumbles, Swansea. Also included are mathematical exercies, 1788, by George Thomas's father, Commander George Thomas, RN, and printed abstracts of accounts, 1837, of Swansea Canal Navigation, with list of shareholders.
