Note
Slides 4695/36-56 have not been catalogued as they are all photographs of drawings held elsewhere in the Library. See series of Patagonian Drawings with accession numbers PB07098-7157.
Note
Slides 4695/1-35 are of oil paintings.
Note
35 mm slides numbered 4695/224-4695/236 are a sequence of images showing how KW starts a painting by sketching a scene and them completing it in oils. Three photos from this sequence appear in an article 'The Heart of the Landscape' in 'The Studio' for April 1962, p132-137. These are credited to Dr Gwilym Wynne-Griffith. The painting is decribed as a mountainous view near Rhyd Ddu. It is presumed that copyright for these images remains that of Dr Gwilym Wynne-Griffith.
Note
Transparencies 4695/249-255 are all variants of 4695/247 & 248 and have not been catalogued.
Note
Transparency 4695/317 is a reproduction of 'Coast of Asia Minor seen from Rhodes' by Frederic Leighton (1830-1886). As it is unclear who holds the copyright to this image it has not been digitised.
