Attached to the 1940 balance sheet is a report of the examiner of the accounts and records of the lodge drawn up to establish whether the lodge had a surplus of assets over liabilities in order to determine what contribution, if any, the lodge should make to the Unity Reserve Fund. The report and a copy of the balance sheet for 1940 was supposed to have been sent to the secretary of the Order.
