Dr Benjamin Hall, chancellor of the diocese of Llandaff, was the father of Benjamin Hall, M.P. (1778-1817) and the grandfather of Sir Benjamin Hall, bart, M.P. (1802-1867) (afterwards first baron Llanover and Abercarn).
