An undated manuscript volume entitled 'Fringillidae britanniae, or British finches: their description, habitation, nests, eggs, food, and song'. The volume gives standard and dialect English names, French, German and Latin names, a description and a watercolour picture for each of fourteen different finches. The manuscript is written in a juvenile hand, and the inside cover and the title page have been endorsed 'Gwyneth' and 'EEC'.
