= The former schoolteacher Emyr Llywelyn Jones, commonly known as Emyr Llywelyn or Emyr Llew (born 1941), is a Welsh political activist, who was most active during the 1960s and 1970s. In 1963, he was sentenced to twelve months' imprisonment for causing damage to the building site of the dam at Capel Celyn near Bala (see, for example, https://www.dailypost.co.uk/news/north-wales-news/anniversary-tryweryn-bombing-man-behind-12586223). Emyr Llew is the son of author and poet T. Llew Jones (1915-2009).
