Abstracts of Cardiff leases numbered 1-130, and Penylan estate leases numbered 1-421. The Cardiff leases comprise building plots in Newport Road and Spring Gardens Place, 1893-1944; all Cardiff abstracts subsequent to no. 80 have been cancelled and re-written in the Penylan section of the book. The Penylan leases include building plots in Agincourt Road, Albany Road, Alma Road, Balaclava Road, Blenheim Road, Cressy Road, Grenville Road, Marlborough Road, Pen-y-lan Road, Sandringham Road, Trafalgar Road, Waterloo Road, 1898-1913. The volume is intitled ‘5. Newport Road, Lower Penylan’ and ‘Cardiff no. 7’, and there are dated alterations to entries until at least 1957.
