Commutation voucher book for the Diocese of Hereford, 1709-1746, containing miscellaneous papers: receipts for grants of commutation money for church repairs, etc.; accounts rendered for prosecution in causes of correction, for blasphemy, adultery, etc.; correspondence relating to the same; papers relating to the suit of Middleton & uxor v. Croft concerning proceedings taken against them at the ecclesiastical court of the diocese of Hereford (items 1-84).
Two foolscap sheets loose in the volume contain an incomplete account of fees for various licences, wills, administrations, etc., in the diocese of Hereford, with Chancellor Edward Wynne's receipts for the years 1729 and 1730 (items 85-88).
