Papers relating to the case of Pike v. Nicholas, heard in the Court of Chancery, 1868-1869, the plaintiff, Luke Owen Pike, alleging that Thomas Nicholas in his work The Pedigree of the English People had 'copied from and pirated' his work entitled The English and their Origin.
