The series includes correspondence with the Honourary Secretary, J. L. C. Cecil-Williams, relating to the Cymmrodorion Medal. A large proportion of the correspondence deals with the redesigning of the Medal in 1954-1955. There are also copies of presentation ceremony programmes and copies of addresses made at ceremonies.

Cymmrodorion Medals are also held in NLW. Tape recordings of the Cymmrodorion Medal ceremonies at the Royal National Eisteddfod at Rhosllannerchrugog in 1961 (presented to Dr Kate Roberts) and of 27 March 1976 (presented to Sir Ben Bowen Thomas and Dr Thomas Parry) are kept in the National Screen and Sound Archive of Wales.
